Distance adoption of Seggiano single clone olive trees

Whereas:

  • Il Silene is the farm producing the Seggiano single clone extra virgin olive oil, their premises being located in Seggiano (Grosseto), where the above cited farm owns and cultivates the land where the olive groves "Olivastra di Seggiano" are located;
  • in order to divulgate and promote the culture of high quality extra virgin olive oil to the clientele is given the possibility to adopt an olive tree;
  • when speaking of "olive tree" we strictly intend as the Seggiano single clone known as "Olivastra di Seggiano".
The distance adoption of the Seggiano olive tree is regulated by the following Agreement:
art.1 - the distance adoption of an olive tree for food (olive oil) supply purposes, focuses on two categories of clientele:
  1. professionals of the catering and/or specialty food shop sectors
  2. private individuals
OPTIONS CONCEIVED FOR THE CATERING AND/OR SPECIALTY FOOD SHOP SECTORS
  1. SINGLE ADOPTION: 1 adopter per olive tree
  2. SHARED ADOTION: 2 adopters per olive tree
  3. THE PRICE LIST FOR THE OPERATORS OF THE CATERING BUSINESS SECTOR WILL BE PROVIDED UPON REQUEST
OPTIONS VALID FOR PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS
The adoption is activated by a minimum purchase of
  1. 1 CASE OF EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL: 100ML /12 BOTTLE CASE
  2. FROM OPTION "a" UP TO 9 LITRES OF PRODUCT WHICH EQUALS THE PRODUCTION OF A SINGLE OLIVE TREE
art.2 - Each olive tree will be provided with an alphanumeric code referable to the adopter/adopters data.

art.3 - Each olive tree can produce about 9 litres of extra virgin olive oil. The adopter undertakes to collect the chosen amount as optioned in the Gentlemen's Agreement available for download at www.adottaunuliveto.com website.

art. 4 - Il Silene extra virgin olive oil will be delivered by courier and in compliance with the payment terms and conditions as defined on our website. Delivery will be made to the address provided by the adopter in the "subscription form".

art. 5 - Our extra virgin olive oil is available in the following sizes:
100ml bottle - euro 6,50 per single bottle
250ml bottle - euro 12,00 per single bottle
Shipping costs (within Italy) 10 euro flat rate

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
When you confirm an adoption/order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items. In the order confirmation e-mail you will see the shipping and delivery dates estimates as well as the order summary

art. 6 - The Producer, Il Silene, through adottaunuliveto.com undertakes to keep adopters informed via emails, about all that happens to their trees throughout the year. The Producer, Il Silene, through adottaunuliveto.com also undertakes to keep open and accessible to the adopters the web pages referring to the project here cited "Adopt an olive tree". The adopter will be provided via email and/or web with pictures and or video downloads concerning: pruning, harvest, pressing activities.

art. 7 - The Producer, Il Silene, offers the opportunity to visit the olive grove and the adopted olive trees. We kindly ask you to book your visit giving at least 15 day fore notice. Furthermore, the adopters may part take to the harvest provided a month fore notice. A guided tour of the oil mill is also available. Il Silene retains the possibility to keep the adopters informed about events and/or business communications that may be scheduled.
